Karma Sherpa's Welcome
Hello, namaste. I’m Karma Sherpa, proprietor of Hotel Bright Star. We are located at the top of Dingboche on the main path. We have very very nice views here. We prepare wonderful food and have very warm rooms and dining facilities. A warm welcome to all visitors from different countries to the Khumbu and Sagarmartha – the Everest region.
Karma Sherpa, whose deep roots in the Khumbu region and passion for hospitality, along with his wife and dedicated team, have made this lodge a favourite hotel on the Everest trail.
Born and raised in the shadow of the world’s highest peaks, Karma brings an authentic understanding of what trekkers and mountaineers truly need at altitude.
What started as a vision to share the warmth of Sherpa culture with visitors from around the world has grown into one of Dingboche’s most popular lodges.
Karma’s philosophy is simple:- really great Sherpa hospitality, share cultural exchanges, and a lot of fun!
